Hello! I'm Irene, although you can call me Irenka. I'm a Designer and Painter.

Irene Anreus is a Valencian Industrial and Product Designer and a beginer watercolor painter who lives in Cork City. She does design, illustration, and watercolor. Her speciality is illustrative design, a combination between illustration and design and design for people with disabilities.

At the age of four, She obsessively painted and drawed everywhere. When She started school She experimented with all sorts of creative outlets, drawing covers for school brochures, entering colouring-in competitions and winning "my fair share of gold stars".
At the age of nine She drawed and made a handmade book, starring a fairy called "Mary who eats lot of candys". But traditional sketching, drawing, painting, handmade making and the like became a bit usual. I wanted to study Art and Design. She spend her precious childhood, painting, creating and elaborating staffs like oil canvas, clay figures, drawings and paintings. Her granny's home is full off Irene's art.

At age of sixteen, She decorated her new familiar house with some oil canvas made by herself. At this moment she decides what she want to study.

Inevitably, She went on to study Industrial and Product Design at University, in Castellón. During her career She designing packging, graphic design, digital and handmade prototips of furniture and products, some photography works. She specialized in designing for "people with other habilities", She likes to call it. It's for human necesities.

In 2018, aged 24, She moved to Cork to begin a new experience as an aupair. Nowadays, She still here looking for a new opportunity to share her art.
Her focus is on continuous studying, exploring and designing for human behaviour in general. But she is opened to learn others ways of design.
